Rozerem is used to treat sleeplessness (insomnia). It helps you fall asleep faster so you can get a full night's rest.

Directions for Intake:

• Rozerem is taken orally, as often as indicated in the prescription of your doctor
• Finish the entire amount that was prescribed even after beginning to feel better
• This is usually taken 30 minutes before going to bed
• Take any missed dose as soon as it is remembered. However, do not double the dosage of your medication at any particular assigned time
• In case of overdosing, seek medical attention immediately

Directions for Storage:

• Store this medication in a place away from moist, light and extreme heat
• The appropriate temperature for the storage area is between 59 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit or 15 to 30 degrees Celsius
• Also choose a storage area that is not easily accessible to children

Precautions:

• Consult your doctor before taking Rozerem. Make sure to give your doctor a complete background of your medical history
• Inform your physician of any other prescription or over-the-counter medications that you’re currently taking, especially the following medications fluvoxamine, ketoconazole or fluconazole
• Inform your physician of any previous or present experience of having liver problems, mood or mental problems such as depression, history of severe lung problems such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease sleep apnea, and any allergies to medications
• This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Activities that require you to be alert (i.e. driving or operating heavy machineries) should be avoided
• Limit the amount of alochol intake while taking this medication
• If you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, consult your doctor before taking Rozerem
• If you are lactating, it may be harmful to use Rozerem
